Top of the list has to be Zoo Lights. Its always such a festive time to see the Zoo dressed up for the Holidays and with a cup of hot cocoa it just doesn’t get much better!
Second on the list is the Winter Ale Fest. Consistently a great place to try those dark seasonal beers and the roasted nuts whose smell permeates the tent by evening. Not to mention, it’s gets fabulously rowdy in a very happy seasonal way!
As Oregon is one of the number one places to get a live Christmas tree, going to any number of the Christmas tree farms in the area is a must do. Like the pumpkin patches, these can range from all out affairs with hayrides, donuts, etc., to the simple just cut and haul farms.
Holiday Tea at the Heathman is a very grown up way to feel like a little princess! Reservations are definitely necessary, but it’s a blast to eat tiny foods and drink champagne.
For a completely different take on a Holiday parade, the Christmas ships give you all the sparkle you could want with a boat parade that takes turns going done the Willamette and the Columbia throughout the season.
Known for its stunning holiday decorations, enjoying cocktails at the Benson on a chilly evening with friends is a great way to celebrate together.
Whatever you decide to do this Holiday Season, my wish for you is to be surrounded by the love of your friends and family!!
